About this Campaign
It is a German tradition to go on a walking trip with others in the springtime and enjoy their company and the beautiful time of year. The trip is done in German and each class has been asked to do a game so both schools can interact in German together. Students can also talk in German and receive small prizes (bubbles, notebooks, pens/pencils). Southeast has carried this tradition with Lincoln High for many years (over 20!). We will leave Lincoln Southeast around 9:30 and walk as a group to Antelope Park (following the bike trail). At the park, we will enjoy some outdoor activities such as Frisbee, soccer, kites and volleyball. Students are welcome to bring any additional appropriate outdoor activity with them. We will leave the park at 12:30 and head back to school. Students have plenty of time to arrive to their 7th period class.
Lunch, German bratwurst and bread with a cookie and lemonade/water, usually costs 3 dollars per student, or students bring their own lunch. We'd like to request funds to pay for lunch on this much beloved field trip so all students can have the German culinary experience.
