About this Campaign
During this time of Covid-19 our students have a greater need for hygiene essentials. With school closed indefinitely, many students have lost access to the period supplies provided by the school nurses and their friends.
The "Period Peeps" are a group of teenagers who are putting together a period care drive to help those in need. All money will go to purchase pantyliners, tampons, and pads. Donations will be distributed to the Woodinville Storehouse Food Bank and the Northshore School District.
A donation of:
- $7 purchases one pack of pantyliners
- $28 purchases four packs of tampons
- $48 purchases eight packs of pads.
Every donation makes a difference.
Thank you for helping to meet our students' needs.

The girls from the period project and I would like to thank you for the donations for our NSD Foundation drive. I'd like to let you know how we have used the funds so far. The girls made over 1,000 period kits which have been distributed to NSD students/parents during the Back to School drive. The kits will also be given out to middle/high school students on the days they pick up their materials for the school year. As mentioned in the donation request we have also given supplies to the Woodinville Storehouse Food Bank. They were kind enough to support a one day drive to collect hygiene supplies so we could distribute them to the community. We have also shared our kits with T2P2, an organization that sends supplies to homeless women and those living the shelters in the Seattle area. There is also a small food pantry at Woodin elementary that we have donated to. Lastly we have shared our supplies with Threads and Treads which provides free clothing to NSD students. It operates out of Canyon Park middle school and is run by their PTSA members. They are often in need of teen underwear which we were able to supply to them as well as period kits. My teen daughters and their friends have learned a lot from the project and have found it rewarding to know they have helped other students as well as community members. They are continuing their work until the supplies run out. Thanks for making this happen!
