About this Campaign
The Morley Elementary Band experienced great growth in the 2019-2020 school year -- from 24 members in the 2018-2019 school year to 40 members this year. Because of this tremendous growth, we are asking for your help in obtaining a student model tuba.
Last year, no student played the tuba because the school does not own a tuba and music stores do not typically rent student model tubas. This year, three students were interested in playing the tuba, but we could only accept one student and only because we were able to borrow a student model tuba from an LPS middle school.
Of course, availability of instruments from another school is never guaranteed, so having a school tuba at Morley would ensure at least one student can play tuba every year. All of the students -- as a whole band -- would greatly benefit from having a tuba player, as it provides a bass voice for the group. Please consider donating to the Morley Elementary Band! Requesting $2,133 plus cost reimbursement.

Thank you for your generous support of LPS students through Fund a Need. We assure you that your gifts will still support the purpose of this Fund a Need campaign, even though school looks a lot different today than it did a few months ago. If this campaign cannot be accomplished this school year, your gifts will be safely held and available for the same use next year.
