About this Campaign
North Star's refugee mentor program seeks community assistance in providing refugee students with essential school supplies. Due to war, violence, or persecution, our refugee families often lose all their financial resources before arriving in the United States.
Additionally, the monetary demands of relocation limit families' ability to purchase backpacks, notebooks, folders, and other school tools. North Star's refugee mentors would like to give their mentees basic school supplies so that students can focus on learning and not on the items they are missing.
Please help us promote students' success as they begin the new school year. Requesting $500 plus cost reimbursement.
