About this Campaign
For 20 twenty years, Lincoln Northeast sophomores have represented our school at two leadership camps each summer: Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) and Nebraska Leadership Seminar (NLS). HOBY's mission it to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. Nebraska Leadership Seminar's goal is to cultivate young leaders of Nebraska in an atmosphere of personal discovery and skills development. Their vision is to Challenge, Empower, and Inspire leaders through education programs and networking guided towards life-long leadership and community involvement.
Through the years, students who have attended report these leadership camps were game changers. Students learned leadership skills and were encouraged to demonstrate initiative to become a leader in our school. Through the years, students have paid their own way. The pandemic changed this dynamic as many student who wanted to attend could not afford the camp fee. We would like ALL ROCKETS who have applied for these opportunities to be able to attend. Requesting $1,700 plus cost reimbursement.
