About this Campaign
The Air Force JROTC unit at Lincoln Northeast is committed to our mission of developing citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community. We are the only JROTC program in Lincoln Public Schools and serve students from all of the high schools in LPS. Donor support last year allowed our unit to earn the prestigious Distinguished Unit Award, putting our unit in the top 10 percent nationally of all AFJROTC units.
Our entire program is dedicated to helping students develop their leadership skills and self discipline to help them prepare for life after high school. While fewer than 10 percent of our students go on to serve in the military, all of them have an opportunity to serve their communities and represent their schools while in our course.
We pride ourselves in being a student-led program where students truly drive the success of our unit. Our students log thousands of hours of community service each semester as part of our courses. We also participate in color guards at local sporting and service events, compete in drill and ceremony meets, have an active physical fitness and archery team.
Your support will help local students from all over LPS grow as leaders. Your gifts will help update our equipment for the physical fitness team, color guards, drill teams, archery teams and other leadership development activities while supporting opportunities to compete and foster a winning mindset.
Requesting $3,000 plus cost reimbursement.
