Brownell Flexible Seating and Other Student Supports

Brownell Elementary is a Title I school that serves approximately 330 students. This campaign would provide important funding for flexible seating and calming tools within the counseling office at Brownell Elementary. Requesting $250 plus cost reimbursement.

Flexible seating offers students the opportunity to increase movement and allow them the choice of seating options. Calming tools are regularly utilized to assist students in using appropriate coping skills and strategies.

Thanks to the D F Dillon Foundation and their generous donation, students at Brownell will have calming tools and flexible seating in the counseling office. These items will serve students for years to come and provide a warm, welcoming space for all. We appreciate you, D F Dillon Foundation!

Thanks to the generous D F Dillion Foundation donors, a variety of calming tools and three seats were purchased for the Brownell Elementary counseling program using the funds raised. All students working with the school counselor benefit from the seating provided, which creates a welcoming and safe environment for all Brownell students. Students have been able to utilize the purchased calming tools and flexible searing to put their coping skills into practice.
