2023 Community Lunch

Each year the A&H Parent Collective furnishes a “Community Lunch” for the student body to share together on the the week of Thanksgiving. It is a day where students of all grades come together to eat at a (very long) communal table, share things they are thankful for, and participate in a day of relationship building activities. It is an honored tradition, and one that students look forward to each year.

This year’s Community Lunch will be November 21st. The Parent Collective does not currently have enough funds to cover the cost of the meal. Please consider a donation to the A&H Parent Collective in order to fund this and other student activities sponsored throughout the year. Requesting $500 plus cost reimbursement.

Thanks to the generous donations of A&H parents and community members, this campaign was fully funded! We excited to be able to continue the tradition of providing the Community Lunch for A&H students in November, and now have a start towards funding some Spring activities as well.

We appreciate the eagerness to support our students in this way. You are welcomed to continue donating to this campaign for the next few weeks, or via other opportunities presented in the weekly A&H newsletters.

The 2023 Community Lunch was a great success! Students practiced their etiquette and conversational skills at a shared table with students they would not normally have dined with. After discussing the things they are thankful for, they participated in a few games to build relationships and memories. Thank you to everyone who donated to this annual event. It is always a highlight of the school year!
