About this Campaign
Elliott Elementary is a Title 1 school in the heart of Lincoln, NE. The students, families, and staff at Elliott are passionate about education. Elliott's minority student enrollment is 74% and our families speak 23 different languages. A number of our families have moved to the United States within the last 3 years.
Our second graders have been learning about animals and habitats this school year in reading and science. We received a grant from the Omaha Zoo to pay for admission for all of our second grade scholars so they can see animals in their habitats up close!
We are requesting funding to pay for the bus to take us to and from the Omaha Zoo! We are requesting $700 plus the cost of reimbursement to pay for the two buses we will need to transport approximately 80 second graders!
This experience will connect classroom learning with a real life hands on experience for our students at Elliott! Thank you so much for your consideration!
