About this Campaign
Holmes Elementary school would like to purchase licensing rights to perform Willy Wonka JR. as our 2024-2025 5th grade musical. Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Jr. would be presented through special arrangements with Music Theater International (MTI), but expenses for this show would need to be fundraised. Licensing expenses would include: Royalties $139.00, Materials fee $556.00 ( would include 30 actors books, 1 directors guide, 1 piano score, 1 vocal track and performance track set, 1 choreography tips digital guide), & $75.00 for a digital logo pack to use for show posters and programs. Requesting $815.00 plus cost reimbursement
Anyone donating to licensing for our show will receive recognition in the Hedgehog playbill for the musical!!
***In the event that our goal is not met we will be putting funds toward licensing for a different musical for 24-25***
Synopsis: Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.
