5th Grade Supplies for Brownell

Brownell is a Title I school in Northeast Lincoln. We serve 350 students in grades Pre-K through Fifth. 71% of our students qualify for free/reduced lunch. The fifth grade team has come together to ask for water bottles for the students who don't have access to them. The fifth grade classes are held in the portables which do not have running water, meaning that students have to walk inside of the school every time they need a drink. We would like to be able to provide the students in 5th grade their very own water bottle so they no longer have to miss out on important instructional time. 

We are also using these funds to be able to purchase additional indoor recess materials, so students have more options than Chromebooks or personal reading. We would like to purchase STEM materials to be able to provide more structured activities during indoor recess time. Requesting $500 plus cost reimbursement.

Thank you for your generosity to help supply the classroom with water bottles. We are located outside of the school building in a portable, so this will help minimize drink breaks, and maximize there time learning!
