Everett Elementary 3rd Grade Scholars to the Theater

Everett Elementary is a Title 1 school in the heart of Lincoln, NE. The students, families, and staff at Everett are passionate about education. 90% of Everett's students are impoverished and there is a 26% mobility rate. Our minority student enrollment is 78% and 41% are English Learners.  Mostly likely, our students will never be able to attend an event at the Lied Center for Performing Arts, unless we provide it for them.  This opportunity is once in a lifetime and will allow our students the ability to build background knowledge and more effectively engage with many of our curriculums.  This  will fund the bussing needed to attend the event
