Building Connections Before Day One

Starting middle school is a big step for both students and their families. Our Sweet Treat Social event invites families to enjoy a fun, relaxed evening with ice cream treats, yard games, and opportunities to meet staff, connect with current students, and learn what to expect in middle school.

This fund helps us create meaningful first impressions. It allows us to provide inclusive, welcoming opportunities that encourage families to engage with the school, build relationships, and feel a sense of belonging from the very beginning. Funds will be used to purchase sweet treats, Dawes merch and other raffle prizes, as well as equipping fun activity stations to increase our family engagement efforts.

We are requesting $1,000 plus cost reimbursement.
