Culler Field Trips 2026

Our commencement speaker told our 8th-grade class of 2026, “If you don't have a seat at the table, build your own.” It is this bold confidence that this campaign will foster within our scholars. Your contribution towards our $3,000 goal will inspire our students to dream of a limitless future for themselves. At Culler, we believe that our student body is capable of achieving ambitious goals. To get them there, they need opportunities that develop their college and career readiness, both in and out of the classroom.  It is our initiative that every student participates in a field trip that connects their coursework to the community in which they live.

We are so fortunate that there is a wealth of community partners and institutions that welcome field trips. We have established a tradition for our sixth graders to visit the Luminarium. This incredible hands-on learning experience brings to life concepts in both science and the humanities. It is an experience that our rising 8th graders still speak of. Funding this campaign will ensure 7th and 8th-graders receive field trips as well. 

As a title building, our students don't lack curiosity, potential, character, or academic excellence. It is access to opportunity that is our obstacle. Field trips provide students with an opportunity to see themselves in every field and at every level of leadership. Our work to close our achievement gap goes hand in hand with expanding their learning through field trips. Please help us fund this campaign to pay for busing and entry.  

We are confident our current student body will be future firsts in countless fields they choose to pursue. But one can not pursue what they do not know exists. Discovering what is possible, that is the power of a field trip for all.
