About this Campaign

A pumpkin patch field trip offers valuable hands-on learning opportunities for kindergarteners. It supports early childhood development by connecting classroom lessons to real-world experiences. Children can explore plant life cycles by seeing how pumpkins grow from seeds, observe seasonal changes, and learn about farm life and where food comes from. The trip also encourages sensory exploration, language development through storytelling and discussion, and math skills through activities like counting pumpkins or comparing sizes. Social skills are developed through group interaction, turn-taking, and cooperative play, making the experience both educational and enriching. We are requesting $1,500 plus cost reimbursement to assist with travel and admission to Roca Berry Farm. Thank you for supporting McPhee kindergarteners and their chance to explore the world around them.
