Total Donation Goal $855 $875.00 Funded
This campaign has ended and has been fully funded. If you made a donation, thank you.
About this Campaign
This Fund-a-Need is for the McPhee Elementary annual fifth grade zoo trip. It has been a tradition at McPhee Elementary that fifth grade students go on an end-of-the-year zoo trip as a "going away to middle school" reward.
We are a Title I school, with a majority of our students receiving free and reduced lunches. The poverty level, along with our refugee and English language learners population, at our school is high -- leaving most of our students without this awesome experience, let alone a movie.
Going to the Henry Doorly Zoo and the IMAX Theater there would be an unforgettable memory for our students. We will have around 45 students who would benefit from this experience and it directly links to our science curriculum. Any amount would be appreciated and a great help!

Thank you so much! Our students were thrilled when we told them our trip was funded. We wanted to send a huge thank you for all that you did for our scholars! Be on the look out for an individual thank you for your contributions!
