About this Campaign
Hello! My name is Kaylin Gardner and I am the K-5 General Music Teacher at Arnold Elementary School in Lincoln, Nebraska. Arnold Elementary is a Title I school, with many of our students on free and reduced lunch. Research has shown that music education can improve the student scores in English language arts and mathematics. I want to help students continue to excel outside of the music classroom with help of ukuleles.
Ukuleles can teach so much and is an accessible instrument to all students from kindergarten through fifth grades. Therefore, the ukuleles will serve 750 of Lincoln's greatest students! With ukuleles, we can teach music literacy and musicianship. Students can learn rhythm and steady beat, while strumming, and basic cords to accompany themselves. It helps them grow in their cognitive skills, small motor skills, problem-solving, and so much more!
I am looking to purchase a class set of 30 ukuleles. One ukulele is $40. I am asking for $1,482.33 to purchase the ukuleles and for cost reimbursement.

Good morning/afternoon, Donors!
I was looking forward to having a Ukulele Club this quarter and taking pictures to share with you. However, due to the COVID-19, I was unable to start this club as I anticipated.
The students are so looking forward to playing the ukulele and I am very excited to incorporate them into my curriculum! Due to the unfortunate circumstances, we are unable to do that at this time.
With your support, I was able to purchase teaching resources, ukulele tuners, and 30 Ukuleles! Thank you so much for your incredible generosity! You have no idea how greatly I appreciate you!
