About this Campaign
The Lincoln Southeast Leadership Cadre exists to further train and provide support for our student leaders.
We often find students with great leadership potential but they don’t have the tools or training to be their best self. We know that high school activities are just the beginning for most of these students and we hope to provide them with lessons and tools to help them find success in a variety of endeavors -- even after they leave Southeast High School.
We also know it requires a lot of trust and delegation from adults to put the mantle of leadership on a student and we want to assist our coaches and sponsors in providing these students with extra training and support -- helping student-led organizations be more effective so our students can realize their full potential.
Our curriculum is based on current leadership development research, as well as trends and issues we’ve seen prevalent within our walls. Some of the topics we hope to focus on are communication, making difficult decisions, delegating responsibilities, conflict resolution, and much more.
During our first year (2019-2020), we discovered our limits financially. Because this is a unique pilot experience that doesn't belong to any department or pre-existing activity, we don't have a budget. Your gifts will allow us to do more for our students: provide books for curriculum supplements, purchase personality and leadership assessments to build self-awareness, and purchase materials for activities.
Through this Fund a Need, we hope to do just that and in turn provide more opportunities and richer learning experiences for our students. Requesting $500 plus cost reimbursement.

Thank you for your generous support of LPS students through Fund a Need. We assure you that your gifts will still support the purpose of this Fund a Need campaign, even though school looks a lot different today than it did a few months ago. If this campaign cannot be accomplished this school year, your gifts will be safely held and available for the same use next year.
