Pershing Elementary ELL Community Trip

The ELL teachers at Pershing Elementary would like to provide an experience for our first- through fifth-grade ELL students. We hope to take students to explore the Dairy Store on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus.

This experience will provide an opportunity for students to explore how community members work together using technology, teamwork, and problem solving to provide goods and services. Our students come to us with a variety of backgrounds and life experiences and we believe this field trip will enrich their knowledge of the world around them. Having the opportunity to explore a college campus will provide an additional option to showcase one possible choice for higher education. 

Your donation would provide transportation, an ice cream treat, and reimbursement for this campaign. Thank you for considering a donation to provide this experience for our students.

An update from the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools

We assure you that your gifts will still support the purpose of this Fund a Need campaign, even though school looks a lot different today than it did a few months ago.
