About this Campaign
AVID is a college-readiness program designed to help students develop the skills they need to be successful not just in college, but in life. Students who participate in AVID will in most cases be first-generation college students.
For kids in AVID, Fridays are meant for team building, guest speakers and field trips to local colleges and businesses in and around Lincoln. When we take our trips we want to make sure we are representing AVID as well as Northeast High School. This is where we are looking for your help and support.
We would like to purchase shirts for our kids to wear on our trips, but don’t have enough money to fully fund the purchase for all 153 AVID students at our school. If you are looking to support a great group of kids for a great cause please consider donating to our fund a need campaign through the Lincoln Public School Foundation. Requesting $1,500 plus cost reimbursement.
