About this Campaign
Drumming is an amazing way to get students engaged in music making! With more drums students will be able to practice a variety of musical and life skills such as beat keeping, rhythm reading, team work, collaboration, and listening skills.
Currently, Hartley only has 5 small tubano drums. With $750 (plus cost reimbursement) we could purchase 3 large tubanos, and 3 medium tubanos. These drums would make it much easier for us to get every student on a drum and create dynamic music!
These instruments are also a great way to learn about music from around the world. Drumming is used in a number of cultures as a way of expression, celebration, and communication. Your help in adding to our world drumming library is greatly appreciated!
