Active Participation Tools

100% active participation is our school-wide goal. This means that every student should be actively engaged in learning at all times. The items requested will help with my goal to keep all students engaged throughout the day. Requesting $370 plus cost reimbursement.

My students love to write with "fancy tools" when working on activities. I have found that having something as simple as a smelly marker makes the students want to participate in the activity more! I have requested an assortment of tools I believe would be a good fit. Response boards are something I think would be fun to use in class so that everyone can respond to prompts at the same time. Finally, I have requested some books and book buddies (stuffed characters) that include some of our favorite characters. The students love reading when they love the characters in the stories.

Thank you so much for your kind donation. I am working on getting some pictures uploaded of the students using the materials we were able to get for our classroom. The books are a huge hit! We have used fun markers and pencils during spelling tests and different classroom projects. The students light up when it's time to get the fancy tools out to use! We appreciate your donation to our classroom SO much!
