LNE MTSS - RISE Store

At Lincoln Northeast High School we use a  Multi Tiered Systems of Support approach to enhance student success. MTSS is a framework that uses targeted, early interventions focusing on the “whole student"  supporting academic growth, behavior challenges, social and emotional needs, as well as absenteeism. 

The three tiers of support are foundational to MTSS and  get more intense from one tier to the next. At the Tier 1 level, supports are given to all students who walk through our doors. An integral component of MTSS is recognizing students for doing the right thing. At Northeast, we acknowledge students for "R.I.S.E.ing" or being Respectful, Inclusive, Safe, and Engaged. When staff see a student demonstrating one of these core values the student is presented with a RISE card. Students collect these cards and use them as currency to buy items at our RISE store.

The RISE store is very popular -- which is great -- but that also creates a challenge to keep it stocked. In the past, we've been able to reach out to local business to provide donations and while grateful our need has overtaken the amount we are able to collect. With your support we are hoping to raise $1,000 plus cost reimbursement to stock the store with a variety of food and drink choices, gift cards to local business, LNE swag, and other items a high school student would be motivated to purchase.
