Shenanigan's Folk Music Audio Set

Through the Orff-Shulwerk certification classes I attended this past summer, I expanded my knowledge of activities that would reinforce the Essential Learning Outcomes of music while also teaching Social and Emotional skills for all students here at Arnold Elementary.

For the past few years, children have been unable to adequately develop and retain social and emotional skills needed to build strong relationships with their peers. Folk dancing not only reinforces musical concepts and gross locomotor skills, but also teaches community building, teamwork, and how to have fun with every child in their classroom!

I am seeking funds to purchase three audio CD's with folk dance music. This set of "Shenanigans" CDs include; "Childrens Dances of Terra Del Zur, Vol. 1", "Bush Dances of New Holland, Volume 2", and "Folk Dances of Terra Australis, Vol. 3".
