About this Campaign
Displays play an important role in the library. They help draw attention of staff/students to new books, special collections, and the celebration of important dates and themes. We try to change our displays regularly to attract lots of students and help them fulfill their interests and information needs. The Irving Library is committed to creating lifelong learners who embrace reading for pleasure. Further, we believe that displays are very important in attracting those reluctant readers to find something that “speaks to them.” Having a paper/design cutting machine like the Silhouette Cameo 4 would help us create displays more efficiently and add a more professional look to them.
We would be buying the Silhouette Cameo 4 bundle ($299/Amazon) and a tool kit ($15/Amazon). Requesting $315 plus cost reimbursement.
