Courtyard upkeep, upgrades, and maintenance

Holmes Elementary has three inner building locked  courtyard spaces that are currently under utilized, or not used by the school community during or after the school day due to overgrown weeds, trees, and grass. These spaces are not contracted to be maintained by the district grounds employees, and the staff and students at Holmes are hoping to revitalize these spaces! By purchasing mulch, plants, various tools, and learning materials we hope to create three calming outdoor environments that will be maintained by students and staff. We also aspire and hope to work toward a fully functional and certified outdoor classroom space for our school in the future! Requesting $800.00 plus cost reimbursement.   

Thanks to the amazing generosity of the D F Dillon Foundation, clean up of our school courtyards has already begun. We have a long way to go, but already the improvements being made are amazing to see. Thank you so much for your support as we continue to purchase tools, materials, and plants to help make our school a great place to be inside and out. You are truly fantastic! :)
