About this Campaign
Lincoln Southeast (LSE) High School's Key Club, a student led volunteer organization, is fundraising so that we can have a tree planting on LSE grounds. Our goal is to plant ten trees and each tree costs $200 - $300 so we are trying to raise $3,000, plus cost reimbursement. We plan to have our tree planting on April 25th.
This tree planting is a part of a project that Key Club has been working on all year called Tree Campus. It is a recognition that the Arbor Day Foundation gives to schools that meet four requirements. The tree planting is a part of our plan to not only meet those requirements, but to better the LSE environment as a whole. Beyond reducing CO₂, trees create a more positive environment as green spaces have been shown to lower stress and improve focus in students.
