Trombones for Lincoln Southeast High School

Lincoln Southeast High School is seeking support to purchase new Yamaha trombones to better serve our growing music program. Currently, we do not have enough high-quality instruments to meet the needs of all our talented students. Many of our current instruments are beyond the cost of repair due to age and the number of students needing an instrument outnumbers what we can provide. These trombones will be used across multiple ensembles—including marching band, concert bands, and jazz bands—ensuring that every student has the opportunity to perform on an instrument that allows them to reach their full potential. Your contribution will directly impact our students’ musical growth and help maintain the tradition of excellence in the Lincoln Southeast band program.  We are requesting $5,134 plus cost reimbursement.

Thank you for your incredibly generous support of the Lincoln Southeast High School band program. Because of your donation, we were able to purchase three brand new Yamaha trombones with F attachments that will make an immediate and lasting impact on our students. From the very start, we noticed a great improvement simply because they were holding the higher quality instruments that you helped purchase.

Included  is a photo I took of three of our students proudly holding the new trombones. For many of our students, access to a quality school-owned instrument is the difference between simply participating and truly thriving as a musician. These trombones will be used across our marching band, concert bands, and jazz bands, allowing students in multiple ensembles to perform with confidence, improved tone, and proper technique.

Your support directly enhances the educational experience of our students. High-quality instruments not only elevate ensemble sound, but they also inspire students to take greater ownership of their musicianship and work toward higher levels of excellence. These instruments will serve our program for many years, benefiting countless students and helping us continue the proud tradition of music at Lincoln Southeast High School.
