Calvert Kindergarten iPads

In a Kindergarten classroom, the most important distance is the arm’s length between a teacher and a student. Currently, our technology tethers our teachers to the front of the room, keeping them far from the little ones who need them most. We are asking for your help to purchase 3 iPads and protective cases for each classroom to close that gap.

With these devices, our teachers can break free from the front of the room. They will have the freedom to change lesson slides while helping a student in the back row, or annotate a math problem on the big screen while sitting on the rug with the class. Most importantly, this tool brings learning to life through live modeling. A teacher can crouch down next to a student, use the iPad camera to show how to hold a pencil or count math manipulatives, and project that live moment for every child to see.
