Total Donation Goal $801 $801.60 Funded
This campaign has ended and has been fully funded. If you made a donation, thank you.
About this Campaign
I am seeking funding to purchase a new iPad and Apple Pencil to replace my current device purchased several year ago by LPS, which is now obsolete and no longer receives software the district updates from Apple. This lack of support renders the device incompatible with current educational apps and security protocols, threatening the continuity of my teaching methods.
Project Description & Impact: This technology is not merely an accessory; it is my primary instructional tool.
1. Real-Time Instruction: I use the iPad daily to project handwritten notes and diagrams in my physics classes to the classroom screen, allowing for dynamic, interactive teaching that engages students visually.
2. Accessibility & Remediation: Over several years, I have built (created) a library of hundreds of instructional video notes. These resources allow students to review material at their own pace outside of class. The video notes are editable as needed using the iPad apps.
3. Equity: These video notes are essential for equity, providing high-quality instruction to students who are absent or those who require additional processing time to master the material.
Funding this request ensures that this critical digital infrastructure remains available to my students without interruption.
Amount needed:
• iPad Air 11" (M3) - Wi-Fi 128 GB - Space Gray (from the LPS purchasing website) - $574 (included the management software required by LPS)
• Apple Pencil (from apple.com) - $129
We are requesting the total $703 plus cost reimbursement! Thank you so much!

Dear friends and supporters,
Thank you so much for helping me get a new iPad and Apple Pencil for my classroom! Because of your amazing generosity, our project is fully funded.
This means the world to me and my students. It means I can keep projecting my notes on the board during class, and I can keep making those videos-notes that are so helpful for students when they need to review the concepts at their own pace.
To my former students who pitched in: seeing your names on the donation list truly warmed my heart. Hearing back from you this way is very special to me.
Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for believing in me and supporting my students.
Warmly,
Eugene Kirianov
