Combined Kindergarten and 5th Grade Graduation Celebration!

Brownell is a Title I school in Northeast Lincoln. We serve 350 students in grades Pre-K through Fifth. 71% of our students qualify for free/reduced lunch.

We are seeking funding to host a dual-milestone celebration for our Kindergarten and 5th Grade students. These two groups represent pivotal transitions: the completion of the first year of formal schooling and the final farewell to elementary education. Our goal is to provide a memorable experience that rewards their hard work and fosters a sense of community pride.

We would use this funding to purchase decorations for both of the graduation celebrations, supplies for the graduation breakfast, as well as Brownell specific graduation traditions. 

We would like to purchase the traditional 5th grade T-shirts for the students to be able to have their friends and teachers sign. As well as the Brownell traditional graduation carnations for the 5th graders ceremony.

If funding allows we would also like to purchase commemorative gifts for the Kindergarten students.
