About this Campaign
We were able to get a grant to cover the tickets for all of our Fifth grade students to visit Henry Doorly Zoo. Many of our students have never been to Henry Doorly Zoo,
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo is frequently listed as one of the best zoos in the world. Students are learning about Ecosystem Restoration in science. What a wonderful opportunity it would be for them to visit the Lied Jungle and explore a working example of biodiversity and ecosystem symbiosis. The Desert Dome and all of the exhibits at the zoo would help foster an understanding of protecting the natural world.
The only need we have is $800 to cover the costs for two busses to take the students and teachers to the zoo.
