About this Campaign
Help Goodrich music students go on a performing tour! Eighth Grade Singers is a group of 20 dedicated singers that rehearse every day during the second semester. These students are excited for the opportunity to perform at three venues and need help paying for a bus to provide transportation.
The choir will start their performing tour on April 20 at Sumner Place Nursing Home. Then, they will go to North Star High School where they will perform with and be mentored by the North Star Concert Choir. After lunch, the students will go to Campbell Elementary to perform and answer young students' questions about middle school music at Goodrich.
This is an enriching opportunity to practice performing skills in three very different situations. Not only will students get to perform, but they will have a chance to influence others who need to hear their talented voices as well as be influenced by those who are older than them. Our students are are very excited to share their love of singing and have a beneficial learning experience at the same time, and you can help!
Requesting $360 plus cost reimbursement.

Thank you everyone for your donations! We are very excited to go on our trip in a couple weeks. We have been practicing hard on our songs and hope that our audience will sing along with us on one or two of the songs. The students say they're really looking forward to going out for pizza for lunch. We appreciate your gifts so much and we simply could not have done it without you! Here are some pictures and videos of our trip. Thank you SO much for donating! We started the day at Sumner Place Nursing Home. Then we were welcomed at North Star High School by the concert choir. We sang the Star Spangled Banner together, and it sounded great! We ended our trip by eating lunch at CiCi's Pizza. What a great day!
