About this Campaign
Help Goodrich music students go on a performing tour! Eighth Grade Singers is a group of 19 dedicated singers who rehearse every day during the second semester. These students are excited for the opportunity to perform at three venues and need help paying for a bus to provide transportation as well as have lunch together during the field trip.
The choir will start their performing tour on May 3 at a Lincoln area nursing home. Then, they will go to North Star High School where they will perform with and be mentored by the North Star Concert Choir. After lunch, the students will go to Campbell Elementary to perform and answer young students' questions about middle school music at Goodrich.
This is an enriching opportunity to practice performing skills in three very different situations. Not only will students get to perform, but they will have a chance to influence others who need to hear their talented voices as well as be influenced by those who are older than them. Our students are are very excited to share their love of singing and have a beneficial learning experience at the same time, and you can help! Requesting $400 plus cost reimbursement.
