About this Campaign

The LSE Jazz Program has a long tradition of excellence. In 1999 under the direction of Bob Krueger, LSE's Jazz 1 ensemble was selected as one of the country's top high school jazz ensembles to compete at the annual Essentially Ellington contest in New York City. The prize money from that contest went toward the purchase of a jazz drumset that is still in use today.

Over 20 years and many students later, our jazz drumset is in dire need of replacement. We hope to make the next drumset last just as long as its predecessor while inspiring countless students to come. Thank you for considering a donation to our program.

Requesting $2,883.74 plus cost reimbursement.

Just wanted to reach out and say a big THANK YOU from all of our students currently using the jazz drumset. Your generosity has helped us obtain a quality instrument, one that students are excited to play and will serve kids for many years to come. Here is a photo of the first of many kids that will get to use this drumset.

Thank you, again, for your incredible generosity!
