About this Campaign
Local illustrator Chloe Burgett’s books focus on portraying children as ambitious, resourceful, and brave human beings. Her illustrations reflect the diversity that we are lucky to see every day in our own classrooms with our students. We constantly see these attributes being displayed by our English Language Learners (ELL). We will use these books to encourage them with their English language journey, to see examples of these important attributes, and how these students contribute to their community.
We plan to use the funds to purchase 10 books to be shared in our English Language (EL) classrooms.
