About this Campaign
Please help the North Star Student Parent program provide student parents with a monthly children’s book. The program includes expecting student parents and student parents with a child ages birth-3.
Books will be sent home with reading strategies, themed activities, and more! Students will work 1:1 monthly with the Student Parent Interventionist to discuss the importance of child literacy and go through each month’s book plan. Books may also vary based on child age, interest, language, and individual plans.
The following month will include reflection on how the take home activities went. Help get children excited about reading early by providing them with the opportunity to start their very own home library. Requesting $500 plus cost reimbursement.
