About this Campaign
Hello, my name is Isis-Mekeda, I am a sophomore at Lincoln Standing Bear HS and a Senior level Girl Scout. I am currently working on my Gold Award, the highest award a Girl Scout can receive. For my Gold Award I am creating a lesson plan and activities about the dangers of drunk driving for LPS middle schoolers (grades 6-8) to do. I am fundraising to provide the schools with vision impairment goggles at the .08 level (the legal limit for drunk driving) for students to wear during their activities. I am getting my goggles through Drunk Busters and plan to get 27 goggles to give out to the LPS middle schools and girl scout service centers in NE. Requesting $1,890 plus cost reimbursement.
