About this Campaign
The North Star Music program is excited to welcome students to our new Classroom Piano Class, starting in the 2025-26 school year. Piano Lab 1 is an elective course offering beginning instruction on piano. Students will receive guidance and direction in solving problems related to playing the piano at a beginning level and will learn many of the different styles, skills, and techniques required to become a successful pianist.
There continues to be growing interest in non-traditional music classes at North Star, which provides the opportunity for students to perform, create, share, and be exposed to music from a wider variety of genres, styles, and cultures. This course is open to ALL students, does not require any experience/skill, and is a great opportunity for any student who has not or is unable to invest in a musical instrument.
The North Star program is requesting donations to acquire electronic pianos and classroom materials, specifically:
10 Electric Pianos
10 Electric Piano Stands
10 Electric Piano Pedals
10 Pairs of Headphones
Class Set of Method Books
