Pyrtle 5th Graders - Summer Book Donation

The Pyrtle 5th grade differentiated reading classes are getting ready to start our final differentiated literature book of the year! We will be reading "Masterminds" by Gordon Korman. We strategically saved this book for the end of the year to finish on a fun, positive, and exciting note. One of the biggest questions we frequently receive is "why can't we read the other 2 books in the series?" Gordon Korman does an amazing job of leaving the first book on a cliffhanger. Students are often eager to find out what happens to the characters in the 2nd and 3rd books. Our goal of this campaign is to raise the funds to purchase a copy of the last two books in the trilogy to send home with our students for the summer. By doing this we are hoping that students continue to find their love of reading and continue to grow their brains over summer break. Requesting $705 plus cost reimbursement.
