About this Campaign
The Lincoln Southeast Band Program is in critical need of replacing its timpani. These instruments represent a significant investment, and due to limited budgets, large capital purchases like this are rarely feasible within our regular funding.
Our current set faces numerous mechanical and structural issues, including pedal tuning assemblies that no longer operate correctly, wheels with flat spots and no available replacement parts, stripped tension rod casings, and bowls that have gone out of round. These problems compromise both the reliability and quality of sound our students can produce. Replacing the timpani would eliminate significant barriers to student success and allow our musicians to perform and learn at their highest potential.
Your consideration of this request represents an investment not only in functional equipment, but in the educational experience and musical growth of our students—today and for years to come. Requesting $15,000 plus cost reimbursement.
