About this Campaign
Help us cultivate a vibrant and inclusive middle school community where every student feels a sense of belonging and is empowered to thrive! This campaign directly supports initiatives crucial to achieving our goals of reducing suspensions, improving test scores, developing a love for literacy, and fostering a positive school culture. To accomplish this, we have created systems that use our school values to affirm our Cougars daily. An example of this is our school store, The Cougar Mart, where students spend their paw points. Last year, students earned 497,906 paw points by modeling our school values in and out of the classroom. That is almost 500,000 times our staff gave students specific praise for how their actions exemplified our shared values and made our school a better and safer place for everyone! Weekly, students have the opportunity to spend their paw points at the school store. Though the items in the store are small, they have a huge impact, promoting a caring and academically focused school culture.
Your contribution towards our $6,000 goal goes beyond our school store. It helps fund student and family-based events that build community and connection. Such as two school dances a year, upcoming teacher vs student sporting events, a movie night, a trunk or treat, monthly awards assemblies, a talent show, attendance celebrations, community events connected to parent teacher conferences, celebrations for students personal reading, including books to build students at home libraries, and so much more. Student recognition is a critical element of our positive school culture. Your contribution ensures that all students have opportunities to be celebrated for their positive behavior, academic growth, and achievement.
By investing in these vital programs, you're helping us create a school where students’ behaviors are safe, focused on learning, and preparing them for their future success. Every dollar brings us closer to a future where suspensions are significantly reduced, disproportionality is eliminated, and every student reports feeling truly at home within our school walls. Join us in building a stronger, safer, and more connected learning community for our middle schoolers.
