About this Campaign
Our Outdoor Adventure course teaches kayaking and boating safety skills to our students. The boating equipment is almost a decade old and we are needing to replace and add to our current stash of kayaks. Students practice kayaking paddling skills, capsizing & re-entry skills, and play kayak polo in our school pool. In addition to the pool experience, we partner with Nebraska Game and Parks to provide an on the water experience at Holmes Lake.
For this fundraiser, we would like two additional sit on top kayaks, two extra paddles, and three life jackets. Many of our current life jackets and paddles need to be replaced. Requesting $1000.00 plus cost reimbursement.
