About this Campaign
KLHS has grown! We've gone from a 3-person operation in the 2020-2021 school year, to a class that people are requesting to join but being turned down because of the size! What a GREAT problem to have!
As our class and our program continue to evolve, our technology needs are also growing. One of the things that is most pressing is our camera situation. We currently have three studio-quality cameras that our students use for our daily shows, but that also our students need to use for news gathering. What we would like to do is purchase one or two more cameras so that we can be gathering news all period, every period, everyday. This will give us the opportunity to have multiple journalists out with cameras collecting information, or even to have more than one angle shots.
We're requesting the amount that would be necessary for one camera, our hope is that in the future, we'd renew this goal to bring in a 2nd additional camera.

We cannot even begin to say how much this donation will mean to us! This will allow us to run news and gather news, at the same time, every day. That's been a real struggle in the past but it will no longer be a struggle! I am so thankful, as are the students. Be on the look out for something soon!
